World’s Busiest Airline Flight Routes

Which flight routes do you think are the busiest? If you said New York City to London (like I did) you’d be wrong.

Last week OAG Aviation revealed the list of the busiest flight routes in the world. This report showed some fascinating data, such as that 15 of the world’s top 20 busiest flight routes are found in Asia and that one Australian flight route is still the second busiest flight route in the world with around 148 flights each day!

There were plenty of other interesting facts such as that the world’s busiest international flight route is also one of the shortest at just 296km. The world’s busiest domestic flight route is nearly double the length at 451km.
